Salou will once again host Festiuet on 17 and 18 July 2026. The music festival will feature some of the biggest names in Catalan music, including La Gossa Sorda, La Fúmiga, Figa Flawas, The Tyets, Ginestà, Els Pets, Buhos and Lax’n’Bust, among others.
Salou is consolidating its cultural transformation through two itineraries that showcase a surprisingly rich historical heritage. The aim is to reduce seasonality and offer high-value experiences through the recovery and promotion of local heritage. Beyond positioning Salou as an innovative, high-quality tourist destination, this heritage has also become a source of pride for local residents.
The railway line divided Salou into two halves, creating a physical and social barrier in the heart of the town. Following the removal of the railway tracks, Salou faces the greatest urban transformation opportunity in its recent history: the Civic Axis.
