Salou Sound Festival: organizers and Tourism Council seek a solution to the cancelation

  Salou. Costa Dorada. Salou organizers of Salou Sound Festival (SSF) officially informed at noon to the City Tourist Board in Salou at a meeting the momentarily suspension of the musical event to be held this weekend. The reason was that the amount of advanced sold ticket has been very small compared to expected and only 1,500 tickets were purchased, making unviable in the initial conditions to perform the macrofestival. After the meeting between SSF organizer and promoter, Omar Salinas, along with the councilman of Tourism, Alberto del Hierro and manager of the Municipal Board of Tourism, Juanma Alonso and the head of municipal legal services, they have agreed to work to get some new dates and a new approach to the viability of this festival. The Tourist Board appreciates the willingness of the organizer to keep holding the festival even outside the original dates. Shortly they will hold another meeting between organizers and sponsors, it is recalled that the Tourist Board signed a collaboration agreement with a contribution of 30,000 euros to outline how to meet the expectations of the audience while keeping the music festival.
