The Xavier Turull Hall of the School of Music in Salou host the February 27, at 20.30 h, a free concert by Otherside, a folk music group with a repertoire based on traditional songs from countries and regions of tradition Celtic, such as Ireland, Scotland and  Asturias, versioned by themselves and performed with traditional instruments such as the Irish folkore Irish flute, whistles and the bodhran (Irish tambourine).

Otherside was formed in late 2006 by four members from the same side of both traditional and classical music. The group was expanded in early 2008, with the addition of a bass player. Thus, the formation currently consists Victor Alvarez Avila, Xavier Barrero Alba, Cristina Gonzalez Pagan, Irene Celestino Lopez and Oriol Tomas Meda.

This project is included in the Young Performers who organized this year for the first time the Department of Culture of the City of Salou. The next meeting scheduled in the cycle will take place on March 12 and will star cellist Aymat Oriol.
