Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 16 May 2012. Tarragona Province is promoting a new edition of RallyRACC Catalonia, Costa Dorada, one of the most important sports events and tourism in the region. The Provincial Government of Palau has hosted the public presentation of this 48th edition, to be held from 8 to 11 November and, once again, will incorporate several new features, both as to routes technical aspects. Organized by the RACC, the rally has the institutional support of the Council, through its Tourist Board, the City of Salou, PortAventura, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Tarragona, and the Catalan Tourism. The RallyRACC Catalonia, Costa Dorada is the last test scoring for the World Championships, One of the great new features this year is the urban stretch of Salou (2 km, mixed), Passeig Jaume I and nearby areas. This is a special qualification to be out in the area of ​​the breakwater pier and arrival at the Avenue of Andorra. The town is also the departure point and arrival of vehicles and the scene of a timed race. The rest of the rally car, will take place in different sections of Tarragona, the Low Field, Priorat, Ribera d'Ebre and Terra Alta. In this last region, there will be a new section, to Waldo.
