Salou, the capital of the Costa Dorada and the beach of Europe, is one of the highest quality destinations in the Mediterranean. Salou is a tourist brand of European and international reference, which arrive every year about 2 million visitors. Along with Barcelona, Salou is the most visited coastal town in Catalonia. Facing the sea and open to the world, Salou offers a range of established, aimed at families and based on excellence in tourism. Salou has a population of about 26,600 inhabitants in three villages: the village, the flat promenade and Cap Salou.
The main attraction of Salou is exceptional climate and offering sun and beaches. Salou's seafront, with over three and a half kilometers of coastline, beaches and coves is new for everyone. Salou's beaches, and diverse natural beauty, accumulate each year awards and accolades, both for the many services they offer and the quality and condition of the beaches.
The capital of the Costa Dorada has a pleasant climate throughout the year. Salou is one of the municipalities of Catalonia which enjoys one of the longest tourist seasons: it begins in March and ends in November. The average temperature during summer is 25 degrees, and during the rest of the year the temperature never drops of 10 degrees.

Located in a strategic location, the city is central Salou on the Costa Dorada, near Cambrils and La Pineda, and near Reus and Tarragona. And Barcelona Airport is located less than an hour from Salou. We arrived in Salou with virtually all transport due to growing infrastructure and constantly improving and sustainable.
