The VI Festival Vandellòs oil gathers over 200 people on Sunday

Vandellòs and Hospitalet de l'Infant. Costa Dorada. About 250 people attended the next Sunday, January 24th, the Feast of the Olive VI, as required by the Agricultural Cooperative of Vandellòs that with the support of the City of Vandellòs il'Hospitalet de l'Infant organizing this celebration. In this sixth edition, will be resubmitted to citizenship oil production of the season and carried out various activities for everyone to try the oil produced in this village, which has the category of extra virgin olive oil and characterized by its intense fruity flavor. Among these activities, starting from 10 am there will be a lunch, a run of pins and a garlic and olive oil competition, as is traditional. Those who so desire will also have the opportunity to buy oil this year at a price lower than last year: 22 euros for 5 liters (50 cents cheaper). This season has produced a total of 27,582.81 liters of oil, of which 16,810 were earmarked for the subsistence of members of the Cooperative, and the remaining 10,771.84 liters, are available from al'Agrobotiga Vandellòs. Vandellòs oil is characterized by its blend of Arbequina olives and trail variety, in smaller amounts.
