Nits Daurades, the biggest festival of the capital of the Costa Dorada

Salou Main Festival Nits Daurades 2026



Salou. Costa Dorada. 28 July 2026. From July 31st to August 15th, 2026, Salou will enjoy the Nits Daurades (Golden Nights), which is the name its Main Festival is known by. In this edition, popular culture, live music, and the municipality's maritime traditions will be highlights of the festive program, alongside the total solar eclipse on August 12th. Check out all the events, as well as the schedules and locations where they take place.

Friday, July 31st, 2026
  • At 11 am, at Espai Infància at Estació del Carrilet: Children's workshops with a maritime theme.
  • At 7.30 pm, performance by the Gegants de Salou with the participation of the fishermen Maria del Mar and Ramon. Route: departure from Espigó del Moll and passeig Miramar.
  • At 8.30 pm, at Ponent beach: Calada de les Malles - Rossegall. Traditional fishing exhibition by the Societat de Pescadors Santa Maria del Mar.
  • At 10 pm, at Ponent beach (nautical base): Popular sardine barbecue and singing of havaneres by the group Xicranda.

  • At 8.30 pm, at Patronat Municipal de Turisme (Xalet Torremar on Passeig Jaume I): Opening speech, by Cristina Lagé Manich, general director of Tourism of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

  • At 10 pm, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: IX Festival Internacional de Música Costa Daurada-Salou. "From Mariana Martínez to Jorge Grundman", by the Orquestra de Cambra Catalana, celebrating its 40th anniversary. Conducted by Joan Pàmies, it will perform works by Mariana Martínez, Leopold Kozeluch, Jorge Grundman, and Walter Niemann.

  • At 6.30 pm at Fonts Cibernètiques (passeig Jaume I): Xic's Daurades with refreshing inflatables and water activities.
  • At 8 pm, on passeig Jaume I, from the monument to Jaume I to Font dels Cargols: Children's correfoc (fire-run) with the participation of the Diables Infantils Els Pascualets and guest groups.
  • At 9 pm, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes, performance by local artists from Salou.
Friday, August 7th, 2026
  • At 8 pm, at Torre Vella, lecture on the solar eclipse by Carlos García Gómez, titled "Total eclipses. An extraordinary experience".
  • At 8.30 pm, from pl. de les Comunitats Autònomes to Fonts Cibernètiques, exhibition of festive elements of Salou.
  • At 9 pm, at Llevant beach, next to Espigó del Moll, III Marxa Aquàtica Salou 2026. Warm-up in front of the Pescador sculpture (Llevant beach).
  • At 10 pm, at plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: Aragonese Folklore Show, by the Grupo Folclórico Jaime I and Agrupación Folklórica Aragonesa "D'Aragón".
Saturday, August 8th, 2026
  • At 8 pm, on Passeig Jaume I – Espigón del Moll: Sardana dancing with Cobla Reus Jove and Agrupació Sardanista Tarragona Dansa.
  • At 9.30 pm, from Passeig Jaume I, in front of the Patronat de Turisme to Font Lluminosa: Night of Fire with Diables Maleïts and Bruixes Latemó, Xaloc, La Morena de Salou, and other guest groups.
  • At 11 pm, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: Momentazo!, 80s, 90s, and 2000s Party.
Recommendations for the Night of Fire:
  • It is recommended that businesses and residents of the flats along the correfoc route keep balcony doors and windows closed, blinds down, and do not hang clothes outside; keep awnings rolled up and remove other elements that can catch fire (flags, etc.), and protect marble and glass with wood or cardboard.
  • It is advised not to invade or obstruct the space where the fire groups perform and to respect safety distances at all times. The instructions of the fire group members and public order services must always be followed.
  • People wishing to actively participate in the correfoc must wear cotton clothing (synthetic materials burn very quickly), long sleeves, a cotton or straw hat, and scarves to protect hair and face, as well as closed shoes and protective goggles.
  • Playing with remnants of pyrotechnic material is strictly forbidden.
Sunday, August 9th, 2026
  • At 8 pm, on passeig Jaume I: Procession of guests by the Asociación Sal-i-Ou. Bestiary, traditional and popular dances. Route: from Font Lluminosa, passeig Jaume I, and up to Fonts Cibernètiques.
  • At 10 pm, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: performance by the musical group RasmiaJazz, with David Cardona on the piano and Merche Broto on vocals.
Monday, August 10th, 2026
  • At 10 pm, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: The William Miller Band, rock explosion led by actor and singer William Miller. From 9 pm, Kimetz DJ, resident DJ at Glow club in Vitoria.

  • At 10 pm, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: Erik López & Cactus Band, from rock to cumbia to keep you dancing.

  • At 10 pm, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: Concert by Fórmula V.
Saturday, August 15th
  • At 8 pm, at the Santa Maria del Mar church: Solemn mass in honor of Santa Maria del Mar de Salou.
  • At 9.15 pm, procession. Route: from the church, passeig Miramar to Espigó del Moll, where the maritime procession will begin. Once finished, the procession will continue along Passeig Jaume I.
  • At 11 pm, on Passeig Jaume I (where the sculpture of King Jaume I is located): Grand fireworks display.
  • Following this, at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: performance by the orchestra La Privada.

Safe festival. Purple and Multicolor Point

In addition to this intense festival program, it is worth highlighting the commitment of the Ajuntament de Salou to ensure that the Nits Daurades are safe celebrations. For this reason, a Purple and multicolor point will be set up at plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes – sports zone, on the following days:
  • August 8th (from 9.30 pm to 1.30 am)
  • August 12th (from 9 pm to 1 am)
  • August 13th (from 9 pm to 1 am)
  • August 14th (from 9 pm to 1 am) and
  • August 15th (from 10 pm to 2 am)
The Purple and multicolor point serves to inform and support in situations of sexist and LGBTI-phobic aggressions and discrimination. Anyone who witnesses or directly suffers an aggression and/or discrimination can go there. In case of any emergency, affected individuals can also call the emergency number 112.
