Tarragona. Costa Dorada. Next Wednesday March 2nd, within the Carnival 2011, will proceed to the inauguration of the "Boters d´honor 2011" at 7:30pm At the Plaça de la Font, as part of the entrance to the city of Carnival and The Concubine. This is a distinction given to people who have had a special personal experience of involvement in the festival and this year's Carnival Tarragona, on the occasion of the celebration of 30th anniversaries, the Advisory Committee of the Carnival of Tarragona has decided unanimously , given to Fausto Sanchez Cascado and Miguel Angel Navarro Arnes. These two people had a definite contribution in shaping the Carnival back in our city 30 years ago. In 1981, after a first "Carnival" almost improvised, were commissioned by the then Minister of Youth and Festivals, Josep Felix Ballesteros recovering and recreating what would be the contemporary Carnival that thirty years later has become one of the brightest moments holidays and participation in the city. On the thirtieth anniversary of this carnival Tarragona recovered, we have tried to assess the task initiation of these people who laid the foundations of what is our current carnival.
