Salou. Costa Dorada. 22 May 2025. Cristina Lagé, general director of Tourism of the Generalitat de Catalunya, is in charge of
inaugurating this Friday,
May 23rd, the 13th edition of the
Sabor Salou gastronomic fair. The opening ceremony will take place
at 7.30 p.m. at the beginning of
Passeig Jaume I, where the event is located, which opens its doors at 12 noon.
The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, and the Councilor for Economic Dynamization, Hèctor Maiquez, will receive the general director at the headquarters of the Tourist Board half an hour before, where the representative of the Catalan government will sign the book of honor, before the inauguration.
In this edition, the
Sabor Salou gastronomic fair has 38 exhibitors and 57 stands, where in addition to tasting dishes, tapas and gourmet products, visitors can participate in workshops, tastings and culinary demonstrations or showcookings, which will take place mainly
on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May. Gastronomic a
ctivities and workshops have also been programmed for children, but all these activities need prior registration.
In addition to a children's area, Sabor Salou offers music and shows such as batucades, giants, and itinerant animation throughout the weekend,
from 12 in the morning to 12 at night. You can consult in detail all the
