All the actions envisaged in the agreement aim to take advantage of representing the coordination and integration of efforts to common goals. "It's a formula that adds forces in a time of scarce resources, hence the agreement makes us more efficient," said former President of the Provincial Tourism Office, John Aregio, who also emphasized the satisfying experience that generate the previous editions of the agreement corner. This initiative, however, was a pioneer in the whole country. During the signing of the agreement, Aregio wanted to convey a message of optimism in the sector, highlighting the increase in overnight stays (2.4%) and tourists (an 3.91%) in the Costa Dorada and the Terres de l'Ebre. Despite being aware that these figures do not represent an increase of turnover, which has even fallen, John Aregio wanted to make clear that "we have very good professionals in the tourism sector of the Costa Dorada and the Terres de l'Ebre, both the private sector as the public sector can continue to grow in volume customers.
