Salou. Costa Dorada. The Tourism Board Salou has participated this past weekend at the tenth Mamas & Bebes Salon in Madrid, within the framework of promotion of the Family Holiday Destinations (DTF). The Tourist Board has attended the council as co-exhibitor's booth in the Catalan Tourism with representatives of the other two certified destinations on the Costa Dorada Calafell, Cambrils and also with the Coast Brava and the Costa de Barcelona-Maresme. The aim of the fair is to promote recognition of the tourist areas and establishments that offer quality services and resources specifically for families. In fact, Salou from 2003 that is certified as FTD with nearly 30% of its local supply with the distinction of families. The Mamas & Bebes Fair "is a priority for us because the public sector and to whom we are and our potential customer for many years that we are present," said the councilman of Tourism, Alberto del Hierro. This fair gathers the latest developments in all areas related to motherhood, childhood and new families. Combining explanatory areas with different areas of services and by nearly 80 exhibitors, an opportunity to connect with a target audience, know your preferences and meet the possible queries. Remember that in terms of sectors, Salou has 26 accommodation establishments certificates which represents 30% of the total accommodation in the town, in restaurants, there are 20 certified restaurants, with 15% of total restoration of the supply of the municipality, while in the section 'other companies' there are 16 bars and cafes, a supermarket, 2 car-rental stores, 100 shops and 4 certificates cultural organizations, which put the total of other companies 28% of total supply.
