Altafulla. Costa Dorada. 1st March 2012. As usual this time, the Tourist Association of Businessmen and Traders Altafulla (ATECA) held on Monday 5 March 2012, at 14h, the Annual Calçotada, which will hold the 11th edition. The meeting, according to tradition, will take place on an estate of Castellot, the municipality of Riera del Gaia. It is expected to attended by over 150 people, including businessmen, traders, council representatives and residents of the municipality. Indeed, it was in that building where the body was born, then, in an informal lunch. Since then, ATECA works closely with the City of Altafulla in order to promote the town to the outside and promote actions that facilitate the tourist stay in Altafulla. The Tourist Association of Businessmen and Traders Altafulla was formed in April 2001. The association includes all employers, self employed or own account workers who have at their service, the municipal Altafulla and its catchment area. The aim is to promote, promote, and revitalize the town from different perspectives not only from tourism but also from culture and society. The organization celebrated its tenth anniversary last year.
