Torredembarra this weekend hosts the Festival of Arts and Artistic Services

Torredembarra. Costa Dorada. Torredembarra presents this weekend, from 23 to 25 October, the Festival of Arts and Artistic Services (FAST) which houses some fifty performances in the fields of dance, classical music, jazz and modern music and theater, street theater and circus. There will be a total of 5 spaces of the municipality where the performances will be entirely free: Plaza del Castillo, Square. Joaquim Boronat, Plaça del escorxador, in the Casal Municipal and Baixa Mar. The organization in charge of the Municipality of Torredembarra and Municipal Boards of Tourism and Culture, with the co-operation of Crearum Productions & Entertainment. It is a festival only because of these diverse disciplines together in the same announcement, becoming attractive to all ages and cultural preferences. Participation in the Festival implies taking part in a contest in which there will be a prize for each of the four disciplines, consisting of € 1200 for the company winning the contract and to act in Torredembarra next season.   An important collaboration Mayor Daniel Masagué, said the joint effort between the private public administration to implement a new cultural product that can become a new economic engine for the people of Torredembarra and its area of influence . In turn, the president of the Municipal Office of Tourism, Pere Font, explained that the FAST is wrapped in a longer term project in which in future is also carried large format shows a business fair, etc.. In this sense, also highlighted the economic and tourist potential of the Festival. The president of the Municipal Culture, Maria Rosa Guasch, highlighted the experience of artistic creative director Crearum Pep Vergè, variety shows and that is a new initiative and, therefore, with great hope to succeed but also the clear understanding that for future editions will be improved. The creative director of the company Crearum Pep Vergè, thanked City Council and the trustees effort to advance this first festival aims to promote talent in various disciplines, mainly from Catalonia, which are often lacking equipped spaces where they can showcase their performances and projects. In fact, the Festival will also feature a space-enabled to facilitate contacts between companies and cultural organizers and establish contracts. The show will begin with the inaugural FAST classical concert of the internationally renowned pianist Salvatore Span Camera Musicae Orchestra of Tarragona directed by Thomas Smith, who will perform works by Beethoven, Chopin, Haydn and Mozart. It will take place on Friday 23 October at 21 pm in the Great Hall of the House Municipal (free entrance as all shows). Also worth noting that in Baix a Mar with two performances by a company that presents Polynesian Crearum outside competition.
