First edition of theMinipop Festival in Tarragona

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. Tarragona has an unmissable event on 4th June 2011 with a lot of pop music and workshops for the whole family to free activity, which will host the Festival Minipop. Tecletes Association, with support from the Municipal Tourism and Competitiveness Plan Roman Tarraco, organized the festival to be held from 17h to 24h. Tarragona Minipop the Festival aims to consolidate itself as the first pop festival of Catalonia, who directed and designed for adults, teens and children together to enjoy an evening of cultural entertainment alternative. Meanwhile, the Festival aims Minipop Tarragona Tarragona position as family destination, offering an urban perspective and a modern, creating a new event tied to music, contemporary art and intangible heritage of Tarraco. The Minipop combine with other offers concerts, workshops and family activities that encourage and support artistic creativity of children, and even a space for babies. Among the artists participating in the Festival and we find Minipop Tarragona Marc Parrot, who will present a show based on the story "What is happening to me," which revolves around the theme of everyday feelings such as anger, shame or fear , seen from the viewpoint of a child. The renowned illustrator Eva Armisén participate in the performance of Parrot Playing in real time the images that accompany the text of the story.
