During all the Christmas holidays, Salou has among the decoration of its streets a Christmas tree made with hook, which, in addition, is the highest in Catalonia of this style with 10 meters high. The Group of Women of Salou has woven for a year 1,500 hook knit paintings to raise this unique Christmas decoration.

Salou has switched on its Christmas lights and unveiled a new Christmas tree, which has a more natural appearance than in previous years and is taller, reaching 12 meters in height.
