Per menjar el millor arròs de Salou una bona opció és adreçar-se a algun dels 22 restaurants de la capital de la Costa Daurada que participen a les Jornades Gastronòmiques de l'Arròs 2026, una de les activitats de l'Agenda Gastronòmica Salou Food Experience d'aquest any.

El dia 16 de febrer de 2026, el Palau de Fires i Congressos de Tarragona acollirà la primera  gala que es fa a Catalunya per presentar Soles Guía Repsol 2026, una  guia gastronòmica de referència a l’estat espanyol. Prèviament, per acostar la gastronomia a la ciutadania s’han programat diverses activitats, que tindran lloc a Reus i Tarragona entre el 7 i el 15 de febrer.

Until December 23, from 12 to 3 pm, you can taste the best vermouths in the joint initiative between the Associació d’Empresaris d’Hostaleria (AEH) of Salou and the City Council of the capital of the Costa Daurada. Up to 19 establishments are participating in the “Fem el vermut a Salou” action, which for 6 euros offers to enjoy vermouth accompanied by a gastronomic tasting.

A total of 12 restaurants in Salou participate in a new edition of the Squid Gastronomic Days, entitled "From the sea to the table". The days are held until December 14, 2025, and are part of the 50th anniversary of the Squid Festival.

“Tasta Salou” is back, the gastronomic days of the capital of the Costa Dorada to try a dish accompanied by a glass of wine (blanc, red or rosé) or a glass of cava all for 6 euros. Check participating establishments and enjoy it!

From June 13 to 22, 2023, lovers of gastronomy and good food will be able to enjoy the best tastings from 30 restaurants in Salou. It is the Gastrotour, which reaches its eleventh edition, maintaining the price of tastings at 5 euros.

From April 14 to May 7, 2023, in Salou you can taste the best rice dishes in the 20 restaurants of the municipality that participate in the Gastronomic Days of Rice, which reach its fourth edition in top form. They are also the first major event in the gastronomic calendar of the capital of the Costa Dorada "Salou, a flavor throughout the year".

With spring and the beginning of the tourist season, the Arena has reopened its doors. From its privileged location, on the Salou seafront promenade, the Arena offers its customers a cozy terrace where they can enjoy vermouth, tapas and rice dishes, or a spacious, bright and informal interior that invites them to taste the menu of the restaurant.

November is a special month in the gastronomic calendar of Salou because the great protagonist in the kitchens of the main restaurants of the capital of the Costa Dorada is squid. In 2021, 13 restaurants participate in the Squid Gastronomic Days that will be held from November 19 to 27.

After the Transition Plan to the New Normality of the Spanish government, which gradually escalates the lack of confidence until June 30, the Business Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of the province of Tarragona demands more details from the government on how the opening of the tourist and restaurant accommodation.

Representatives of the hospitality sector from all over the Tarragona region have participated in a virtual meeting to debate and share the future of the hospitality sector after the coronavirus. The traditional gastronomic days dedicated to squid will begin next Friday, November 23, and will last until December 9. Fourteen restaurants will participate in this fifth edition, which will prepare squid menus and will participate in this initiative in order to offer a quality product and service.

From Monday until December 8, a total of 26 restaurant menus offer different prices based on romesco sauce or cold cooked dish. It is a tradition rooted in Cambrils, as evidenced by the historical tourist slogan "Sun, marinade and romesco," now recovering with the days of the event.
