El Patronat de Turisme de l’Ajuntament de Cambrils va ser guardonat amb el premi Jordi Cartanyà de la Diputació de Tarragona en la categoria de municipi del litoral per haver incorporat l’aplicació Layar de realitat augmentada als seus fulletons turístics. Entre altres utilitats, l’eina facilita la interacció per part de l’usuari i amplia la vistositat de la informació amb vídeos, fotografies i grafismes. El guardó, dotat econòmicament amb 3.000 euros, distingeix material de promoció turística editat aquest any.

Investindustrial, l'empresa propietària de PortAventura, gestionarà la meitat de les places hoteleres previstes a BCN World, arran de l’aliança a què ha arribat amb el grup Veremonte, impulsor del macrocomplex. Amb la seva entrada en el projecte, encapçalant l'oferta dirigida al turisme familiar, PortAventura se suma als tres inversors ja coneguts. El president de BCN World, Xavier Adserà, assegura que les obres del projecte començaran durant el primer semestre del 2014.

Aquest divendres dia 15 de novembre s’inaugura a Reus la 17ª Fira de l’Oli Siurana. Festa de l’Oli Nou, que es podrà visitar a la plaça de la Llibertat el mateix dia de 17 a 21 h i dissabte de 10 a 14 h i de 17 a 21 h. Els dos dies hi haurà diversos actes relacionats amb la mostra, com ara degustacions i actuacions musicals. La Fira de l’Oli Siurana de Reus va néixer l’any 1997, en què es va crear amb la finalitat de reunir els productors més importants de la DOP Siurana. L’acte d’inauguració de divendres és previst a les 19 h.

El grup de música juvenil Macedònia actuarà a l’Auditori del Palau de Congressos de Tarragona el diumenge 22 de desembre per presentar el seu nou disc, Flors. El concert, produït per Music From Tamarit i Abril Producciones, està programat a les 7 de la tarda i l’obertura de portes es farà una hora abans. Macedònia espera repetir l’èxit que va aconseguir amb el seu anterior disc, Desperta, del qual en van vendre prop de 6.000 unitats. Des del 2001, les quatre generacions de noies que han passat pel grup han enregistrat un total de nou àlbums.
