Rècord absolut del Cos Blanc. Més de 55.000 persones han deixat petit el Passeig Jaume I, que per primer cop acollia la celebració de la festa per excel·lència de Salou. Sens dubte, la millor festa a l'aire lliure de la Costa Daurada amb la desfilada de 28 colles formades per 3.000 persones disfressades i les seves carrosses, i 20 torres de llum i so, i 19 canons "disparant" sense parar 25 tones de confeti.
