La piscina municipal de Salou ha estrenado un sistema avanzado de sensores inteligentes que permite monitorizar en tiempo real la actividad de los nadadores, reforzar la seguridad y la experiencia de los usuarios, y hacer una gestión más eficiente del equipamiento. Con esta tecnología, Salou es el primer municipio de Cataluña que integra su piscina en la Red Española de Piscinas Inteligentes Conectadas (EPIC).
