La temporada turística mantiene las cifras de 2017 en cuanto a pernoctaciones

El número de pernoctaciones en establecimientos de Salou durante este año 2018 contabiliza ya las 7.803.648, una cifra que se ha reducido en un 0,6%, comparando las cifras con el mismo periodo del año pasado. Los españoles, ingleses, franceses, rusos e irlandeses son los que más visitan la capital de la Costa Dorada, donde se incide en la promoción de un destino de sol, playa y familia dentro de Cataluña. Respecto al número de pernoctaciones que se llevaron a cabo en 2016 el descenso es de más de un 6%, ya que 2016 fue un año récord en turismo.

La Federación Empresarial de Turismo de Tarragona (FEHT) y la Diputación de Tarragona han hecho públicas las cifras de la temporada 2018, donde destaca un descenso del 3% en el número de pernoctaciones respecto a 2017. Los datos de esta temporada que ahora se cierra tienen más similitud con 2016 que con la pasada temporada, donde se experimentó una puntual subida récord.
