Side of the mayor on the exits of house to do exercise and to stroll

Camino de Ronda

Salou. Costa Dorada. 01 May 2020.
The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, has dictated a side in relation to the security measures that must be taken into account when leaving the house to do physical exercise and walk, as allowed by the state of alarm by COVID 19.

The side remembers the time bands that must be respected when making the exits and recommends to always walk on the right sidewalk to order pedestrian circulation and reduce the risk of proximity of other people and facilitate the maintenance of the 2 meters of safety distance between people.

The mayor also remembers that you can do sports on the Camino de Ronda, but in one direction only from Calle de Colón towards Cabo Salou.

The full text of the side is as follows:

As of May 2, you will be allowed to go for a walk on foot, with your family or in the company of people who live at the same address, and do sports, individually.

But there is a lot of prudence and caution and continue to comply with the rules and recommendations for social distancing, because the state of alarm is still in force, given the high potential risk of contagion from Covidien-19, which still persists.

In this sense, we recommend extreme preventive measures for individual and collective protection, and recommended that when you go out for a walk or do sports, do it as follows, respecting the recommendations and indications that you will find on the information signs on public roads .

1.- Maintain a safety distance of two meters around you from other people.

2.- Pay attention when walking, always, on the sidewalk on your right, so that the circulation of pedestrians is ordered, with a sidewalk for each direction, in order to reduce the proximity between people, when crossing.

3.- Respect the schedules:

From 6 to 10 hours, and from 20 to 23 hours, those over 14 years old can go out to do sports once a day.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., those over 70 can go for a walk.
From 12 to 19 hours, children under 14 years old, accompanied by an adult, can go for a walk for 1 hour, and 1 km away from home.

4.- You can go sports on the Camino de Ronda, taking into account that it will be one-way, from Calle de Colón, towards Cabo Salou.

Think that if you protect yourself, you also protect others.
