La Semana Santa llega a Salou ofreciendo a vecinos y visitantes el resultado de una obra espectacular: la transformación de la avenida Carles Buïgas, uno de los principales ejes comerciales del municipio, en un espacio peatonal de 1.300 metros de longitud, que significa además una apuesta por la sostenibilidad y que ofrece también un paseo artístico por la historia de la capital de la Costa Daurada.

Hasta las 12 de la noche del domingo 5 de mayo de 2024, el paseo Jaume I de Salou hervirá de actividad gastronómica gracia a Sabor Salou, la feria gastronómica más destacada de la Costa Daurada. La inauguración a cargo de la popular restauradora y presentadora del programa Cuines de TV3, Gessamí Caramés, ha tenido lugar con una feria ya muy concurrida una hora después de su apertura.

The Sabor Salou gastronomic fair will take place on May 6, 7 and 8, 2022 on Paseo Jaume I. On its tenth birthday, it is complemented by the organization of the Sabor Salou Music Festival, with DJ performances every day at 8:00 p.m. 10 p.m. to attract a younger audience.

For this reason, the Salou City Council, through its Tourist Board, has launched the "Beach all year round" initiative to encourage citizens and visitors to enjoy the beach beyond the summer season and the holidays.

Salou reiterates its interest in La Cella being part of the Ruta dels Ibers and the Cami de Ronda

The work carried out in the Iberian site of La Cella, in Salou, during the year 2017 shows the municipal interest in consolidating and adapting the deposit . A part of it - the recovered habitats - will be part of the Museum of the Protohistoric Site. The improvements, carried out by the Grup de Recerca Seminari de Protohistòria i Arqueologia (GRESEPIA) of the URV, will allow in a future that the Generalitat contemplates the possibility of including it in the Ruta de los Íberos. It is a request expressed by Pere Granados, mayor of Salou, during a visit to the Iberian constructions near Cap de Salou.
