The paseo Jaume I will become a fashionable walkway this weekend

Salou. Costa Dorada. 30 May 2018. The contest "Salou de Moda" will start this Sunday and will last all weekend, in which Paseo Jaume I will become a catwalk and a stage where fashion will be the protagonist. The Department of Economic Promotion and Trade organizes during these days a series of family activities, which include shopping area, workshops and music.
It is an event that brings together new trends, but also other parallel leisure activities, such as tasting combined with a vermouth tasting and a personal shopper session, among others. This appointment -which this year opens the format- has the sponsorship of Miró vermuts and the support of the Salou Merchants Association 365 days.

The planned events begin the same Friday at 10 in the morning with the installation of a shopping area and children's area that will be extended during the three days of the event. In parallel, dynamic activities will be mounted as an 'Elegance' dance and music performance by Le Petit Gerhard and Cia Alhazen (Friday at 6.30 pm); Saturday from mid-afternoon until ten o'clock at night, Fashion Street looks with the music of the Urban Deep Sound have been programmed; those that will accompany the central act located in the first section of the Jaume I promenade, as well as a draw for purchase vouchers. The next day, Sunday, June 3, in the morning (12 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and in the afternoon (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.), a tent will be organized with a personal shopper workshop that will be complemented by a musical vermouth at around 1:00 p.m. 13h with DJ Strictly 100% vinyl with a session of 'revivals'.

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Trade, Markets and Consumption, Martina Fourrier, explained that "this year has opted for a new renovated format that enhances the shopping experience." Fourrier, added that "we will enjoy a weekend dedicated to fashion in the municipality through which we want to make our showcase of fashion and trends more visible and do it in a way that encourages the whole family".
