The humor, music and costumes related to the annual Cós Blanc parade make up a program of the Salou Winter Festival, which this year offers more than 70 free acts. El Cós Blanc premieres prizes in this 2019 edition for the best costume, the best float and the best comparsa. The comic actor, Txabi Franquesa, will be in charge of giving this Friday, January 25, the 11-day start of the Winter Festival in Salou with the traditional proclamation in the TAS. It will be the first act of the more than seventy proposals from the Department of Culture and Festivals and in collaboration with Sports, Youth, Children, Social Action, or the Antenna of Knowledge of the URV, among others and in collaboration with the entities of the municipality they are included in the festive program that was presented this morning. Activities for all ages and all free of charge -except two nights of humor with monologuistas al envelat- make up a varied program that will also welcome the new heirs and heir of 2019.
This new edition of the Winter Festival has the participation of some 40 entities and associations of the municipality, and 28 groups, who participate directly in the events planned at the party. The Department of Culture and Festivals is responsible for coordinating the programming that this year maintains the specific image for each of the clubs with confeticonas that will be disseminated through social networks and identify each group.
This morning during the press conference for the presentation of the program, the Councilor for Culture and Festivals, Mª José Rodríguez, accompanied by the area technician, Salva Mimbrera, wanted to thank "the effort, work and the willingness of the associations to assemble a party for all where there is, in addition, a great participation of the entities of Salou "and has ensured that" the associative fabric is in good shape ".
Monologues of humor and lots of music
One of the acts prior to the start of the party will be the show "The tonsils of my tonsils are my tonsils" by Luis Piedrahita, on Thursday January 24 at 9 pm in the envelat. You can also enjoy on Friday 25 of the humor show "#lodelarisa" by Nacho García, Tomás García and Txabi Franquesa, at 22 hours in the envelat. Also, there will be a meeting of giants (Sunday January 27 at 11:00 a.m.) that already adds 33 years of exits and glimpses through the streets of the municipality with exit from the Plaza de la Paz, along with the subsequent dance of sardanas; the tribute to the elderly at the theater with the musical performance of the Ruben's group (Monday January 28 at 5:00 pm at the theater); the homage to the elderly woman in the Torre Vella (Thursday, January 31st at 7pm); and the choir concert with the performances of the Coral Alborada, Coral Eixàrcia and the Corazón Vasco Ama Lur at the TAS (Friday, February 1 at 8:30 p.m.).
