With the arrival of Holy Week and summer, the schedule of the blue parking area of Salou is modified. For the summer, the blue zone is activated between June 1 and September 30 every day, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 10 pm, in all the regulated parking areas. The parking Llevant Sud i Nord also modify their blue zone hours from Monday to Sunday, holidays included, from 10 am to 04 am
Once these dates have passed, only the exclusive blue areas of the whole year will be active and they will be applied in the streets of Barcelona, Berenguer de Palou, Via Augusta, Via Roma and Ciutat de Reus (in certain areas), since they are commercial areas and for the need to generate a greater circulation rotation.
The residents of Salou who do not yet have the new blue zone parking card can go to look for it through the offices of the OAC on the ground floor of the City Hall from Monday to Friday from 8.30 and until 2 pm. Do not wait for the regulated area to start up. To be a beneficiary of the card, you must have the vehicle circulation tax domiciled in Salou and up to date with payment, as well as not having municipal traffic sanctions pending payment. You must present the original ID of the owner of the vehicle or authorization signed by the same with a photocopy of your ID and carry the old card that will be replaced by the new one.
Citizens who have the resident parking card may issue a ticket to park in the blue zone until the credit they have available is exhausted, depending on the type. Once the balance is exhausted, the card is canceled. (Valid until September 30, 2019).
There are two types of cards: the type 1 card with 200 hours, for citizens with the vehicle tax and who have their address in the aforementioned streets and another card loaded with 150 hours for the rest. Expired cards must be taken to the offices of the OAC to proceed with their recycling.
At Easter, the blue zone will operate every day from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 10 pm, and will be applied throughout the regulated parking lot of the municipality.
