The summery agenda of Salou is full of festive events

Salou. Costa Dorada. 30 June 2018. The Department of Culture and Festivals of Salou has prepared a cluster of festive events and cultural and sports activities that will make those who have chosen the capital of the Costa Daurada have a summer of unstoppable leisure. The range of activities is endless: habaneras, neighborhood festivals, regional parties, concerts, sports championships, film series, exhibitions, handicraft markets, solidarity and commercial activities ... etc. The puff of the "Malles de Sant Pere" or the second edition of the International Festival of Music Costa Daurada-Salou are two of the most outstanding.

The City Council of Salou already has an informative brochure that has been distributed throughout the municipality. In this, the main lines for the main ludic and festive activities of this summer are collected.

Among the most outstanding are the second edition of the Costa Daurada Salou International Music Festival with a program of symphonic concerts and Chamber concerts in different places of the municipality such as the Luminosa fountain, the Catalan farmhouse, the Old Tower or the Moll breakwater, among others, all of them free. The Councilor for Culture, Mª José Rodríguez, pointed out that "the wide range of activities that can be found during the summer will be complemented by the Golden Nights program that we hope will be of interest so that in its preparation we have tried to add a bit of everything and for all! ".

But this year's summer guide also incorporates other party activities in neighborhoods aimed at children with refreshing workshops and inflatables throughout July and August in places like Chalets and Mirador; the square of Cala Cangrejos, in the Civic Center the triangles, in the Summer area or the Plaza de la Provincia. The library also organizes every Monday at 6pm the children's reading club with playful and imaginative reading and comprehension activities; and every Wednesday and Friday at 6.30 pm workshops, games and readings, songs, movies ... 'We read the Games 3.2.1 ...'

The cycle of habaneras, sardanas and movies, the puffing of San Pedro's tights or the Fuera Stocks fairs and the Salou Shopping Festival are also incorporated into the summer program along with the Golden Nights of the month of August.

Sports activities, in addition to other cycles such as the Fiesta del Rey Jaume, inaugurations at the Torre Vella or the open-air cinema cycle complete the program.
