According to the mayor of the capital of the Costa Dorada, it is necessary "now more than ever, to coordinate efforts to reorient the tourist and promotional campaigns, since the new social situation presents us with new challenges". It should be remembered that Salou obtained a 2 million euro grant from Seggittur to become a Smart Tourist Destination (DTI), a project that should be developed, in principle, this year.
