Energía con consciencia" program, from the Repsol Foundation, has expanded its registration period until October 29, to allow the largest number of interested centers to participate in this educational activity. This initiative aims to raise awareness and raise awareness among third- and fourth-year students about how to make more responsible use of energy resources. Energy consciously consists of educational practices, through the simulation of an energy audit of their educational center, discover how they can be more efficient in the use of energy.
In this activity, it promotes research, communication and teamwork skills, and in addition, students have the support of Repsol volunteers, who go during a school day in the classroom to carry out various workshops and practical activities.
During the program, students will have to develop a simulation of the energy audit of their center, and propose improvements to be more efficient. The best reports will be able to participate in the
Energy Championship with conscience, which rewards with 7,000 and 3,000 euros in the winning centers, to implement the improvements collected in the audit.
Fundación Repsol will provide all the materials and the participation is 100% free. The call is aimed at educational centers of the Community of Madrid; Región de Murcia; Cantabria, province of A Coruña; province of Ciudad Real; province of Tarragona and province of Bizkaia.
Since the launch of this program, more than 4,000 secondary school students from different educational centers located in Madrid and the surroundings of the Repsol and Petronor industrial complexes in A Coruña, Cartagena, Puertollano, Tarragona and Múskiz have already participated.
In addition, more than 250 Repsol volunteers have collaborated in this activity, aimed at raising awareness among young people to build a more sustainable future.
