On October 1st, parking cards for the new season can be reloaded

Salou. Costa Dorada. 28 September 2018. The Salouenses who have a parking card can recharge the balance as of next Monday, October 1. That day, the new winter parking schedule starts in the blue zone; which significantly reduces the parking points of payment with respect to the summer. So there will only be six streets where the blue zone will be applied. These are c / Barcelona, ​​Via Roma, c / Ciudad de Reus, Via Augusta, the first section of c / Berenguer de Palou, and c / Scala Dei. In total 290 squares of blue zone distributed by the municipality, and especially, in the most centric and commercial zone of Salou to favor the commercial mobility.

Regarding the validity schedule of the regulated parking will be in operation from 9.30 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm from Monday to Friday. For the fourth consecutive year, only the compulsory payment of the parking ticket is kept only on Saturday mornings from 9.30 am to 2 pm, and therefore the regulated payment is canceled on Saturday afternoons and on Sundays throughout the day .

In this new winter season that starts on Monday and will be valid until May 31 -except the Holy Week period- obtaining a one-hour ticket will cost € 0.75 for the first hour and 0, € 85 for the second. For residents who pay the vehicle tax (ICV) in the municipality will have 200 hours of free parking in the case of citizens with the ICV domiciled in one of the streets and numbers affected in winter, and 150 hours for the rest of citizens with the ICV in Salou. This card is valid until September 30, 2019, and allows you to take out a ticket to park the assigned vehicle in the blue zone until the credit you have is exhausted. Once the balance is exhausted, the card will be automatically canceled.

The General Services councilor, Jesus Barragán, explained that "this year we have increased the citizen service so that Salouenses who come can process the cards more easily and comfortably."

How to get free parking cards?
To be a beneficiary of this card you must have domiciled and paid the vehicle circulation tax in Salou and not have municipal traffic penalties pending payment.

From the Office of Attention to the Citizen, it is informed that as of Monday, October 1, the cards will be recharged to the citizens who possess it, or to the citizens who request it for the first time; those who have lost it will have to wait until the week of October 15 to proceed with its collection and recharge.

Citizen service hours at the City Hall are from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Those interested must present the original ID of the owner of the vehicle or an authorization signed by the same with a photocopy of their ID and to deliver the expired card.

Remember that the ticket with the printed registration must be clearly visible on the vehicle, otherwise it may be sanctioned.
