The sixth edition of Gastrotour arrives in Salou between May 26 and June 4 to make known many tapas and the more than 50 establishments that during these days are in charge of its elaboration.
For a price of 2.5 euros, which includes an elaborate tapa and a San Miguel beer, a sponsor of Gastrotour, the elaborations of the 59 participating establishments can be known and voted for 'my favorite tapa', for the most original and for the Best service. The catalog of participating establishments, where it is possible to know in advance what is the proposal offered by each bar-cafeteria or restaurant, is published in Catalan, Spanish, English and French. The Gastrotour includes a main route, with sweet and salty specialties and a Baby Tour route, designed for the little ones.
For its part, the 365 Association of Comerciants i Empresaris of Salou collaborates with Gastrotour giving their clients 365 coins that these, in turn, can exchange in any of the participating establishments.
During the presentation of the Gastrotour, the Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados and the councilor of Dinamització i Promoció Econòmica, Martina Fourrier, agreed to emphasize the importance of this proposal to make known the local gastronomy and to attract local tourism from a Gastronomic offer affordable and high quality.
