The City Council will improve the asphalting of a score of streets in Salou

Salou. Costa Dorada. 21 March 2018. A project promoted by the City of Salou plans to improve the asphalting of a score of streets of the municipality, for which it will allocate 123,000 euros. In some roads the road surface will be completely renewed, in others, punctual repairs will be made in damaged sections. The action will be carried out by the company M. and J. Gruas S.A. who has been the winner of the contest to carry out these works, which will complement the Municipal Brigade in specific areas where there are potholes or holes.

As the City Councilor for Maintenance of the City, Mª José Rodríguez, explained, "we are working on the overall improvement of several streets that presented a series of irregularities on the surface of their pavement and we seek to improve their appearance as well as facilitating the mobility and user traffic in these areas. " In this regard, from the City Maintenance a schedule of actions has been planned in the streets that we detail below: Barcelona Street (in front of Escola Sta. Mª del Mar) where 33 m² will be arranged; Pere Wels street with an area of ​​40 m²; the Plaça de la Segregació with a performance of 58 m²; the street of Berenguer de Palou with a surface to repair of 90 m²; Via Augusta with 61.60 m²; It will also act in the street of Cambrils corner with Guillem street of Claramunt to a surface of 44m² and in the same street of Cambrils repairing about 102 m². Other streets that will also enter this action to improve the asphalt of streets are the Guillem de Montcada with an area of ​​9m²; and in the area of ​​Barri de la Salut the streets of the Sun with 142 m² and València with 122.75 m²; as well as the Passeig de Miramar-Plaça de Venus with an area of ​​407'25 m².

The actions in improvement of the pavement of the streets also go through other actions in the Street of Paris (between Nord and Major) 91,20 m²; in the street of Lleida 37m²; in carrer Major 130.4 m²; in the street of the Nord 365,4 m²; in the street of the Lane 38 m²; on the street of Birmingham 152.5 m²; on the street of Louis Braille 36m²; on Avenida del Batlle Pere Molas 220'5 m²; in the street of Vendrell-Passatge of the Antines 12.75 m², as well as the Passatge of the Antines 101,80 m² and, finally, in the Street of the Streetlight (Touching in the street of Sauner) 23,75 m².

The works of improvement of the public space includes a surface of performance of 2.318,9 square meters of surface and will serve to correct potholes, some deformations and cracks and suppose an investment of 123,000 euros.
