The archaeological site of "La Cella" can be visited on August 24

Salou. Costa Dorada. 23 August 2018. The archaeological site of "La Cella", in Cap Salou, can be visited tomorrow, Friday, August 24. The dramatized visits have been organized at the request of the City Council, the Research Group of the Protohistory and Archeology Seminary of the URV, and the IBER company. These visits will be carried out by one of the persons in charge of the team that has carried out the archaeological campaigns carried out in the site, and will serve to explain both the main characteristics of the settlement and the results obtained in the archaeological works and their interpretation.

The main objective of these visits is to show this protohistoric town from the IV-III centuries BC, one of the most important heritage and tourist assets of the municipality: its excellent location next to the coast, its defensive system, domestic architecture and its complex houses , its streets and its urbanism, its economic or daily activities and its customs.

These two visits will be made this Friday, August 24, at 6 pm in Spanish, and then at 7:30 pm in Catalan. The activity will be completed with the visit through virtual reality, to one of the main buildings, an authentic journey through history. The visit will also include a tasting of Iberika beer.

The price is 10 euros for adults, 5 euros for children between 7 and 12 years of age, and 22 euros for families (2 adults and 1 or 2 children).
